For The Brewery’s brand and web design, the process began by carefully balancing heritage with modernity. The building’s Georgian character and rich history inspired a palette rooted in warm, timeless tones; deep brick reds, stone neutrals, and rich charcoal, paired with lighter, contemporary accents to reflect its new role as a vibrant business hub. Typography choices followed the same principle: classic serif fonts to echo the history of the site, complemented by clean, sans-serif type for clarity and a modern edge. Traditional print and a campaign microsite were all part of the deliverables for this project.
To bring the identity to life across print and digital, we developed a considered icon set. Subtle line-based illustrations referencing the building itself, collaboration, and community, were used sparingly to guide navigation and highlight key services. This approach gave the brand a visual language that is both approachable and professional, capturing The Brewery’s transformation from its nineteenth-century roots into a flexible, forward-looking space for today. A brochure for both print and digital was designed, with a download version available on the website.
