Working with RTU’s existing logo and core colours, to evolve and expand their visual identity across all touchpoints. The aim was to create a more unified and contemporary design system to convey RTU’s innovation, quality, premium products and services. This included the introduction of new graphic elements, updated corporate type styles, iconography, and refined layout styles, resulting in a modern, professional visual identity to position RTU as a leading supplier within the construction industry.

As part of the identity, brand shapes based on the angles and sections of the ‘U’ from the logo, are used to frame pictures and add brand connection and colour to the design. A refined serif type for headlines and CTAs was introduced to convey a more premium feel, complimented with a clear sans-serif type for content.

As part of the company-wide brand update, the updated branding and palette were rolled out across print and digital, display and exhibition design, plus signage and vehicle livery. Overlapping layers were used to convey flow of concrete, and used to effect for transitions in video for exhibitions and social media.
